From Saturday, December 4th, all UK visitors will be required to submit a negative COVID-19 test.
Regardless of a person’s vaccination status, the new restrictions will apply to all nations outside of the EU. The test might be a PCR or an antigen, and it must be completed within 48 hours after travel.
The additional measures were revealed by French government spokesman Gabriel Attal as the country moves to tighten entrance procedures in reaction to the new Omicron model.
Travelers from the United Kingdom and other non-EU countries can still enter France with evidence of vaccination and a sworn statement form until this Saturday.
If they are not completely vaccinated, arrivals from the Schengen zone will just need to submit a negative test. This exam must be completed at least 24 hours before travel.
At the weekly news conference, Gabriel Attal also stated that the travel restriction between France and South Africa will be prolonged until December.
