Today, some of the world’s most successful organizations are ramping up their use of data science, hiring organizational psychology experts, and speeding up their digital transformation to apply AI and ML in the workplace to better their people analytics. In a world of work that is constantly changing, it’s worth thinking about the HR trends we might expect in 2022 and beyond.
MACHINE LEARNING & ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies, as well as the massive quantity of data available to businesses, are making it easier for recruiters to optimize their hiring procedure, including pre-screening and onboarding. Recruiting issues such as subconscious bias among recruiters can be addressed by new-age companies when evaluating prospects.
Workers can benefit from AI and ML by allowing them to focus on more creative and high-value work instead of monotonous data entry duties. This also means that people will have more options to upskill in a new field in which they may thrive.
According to a PwC report, 72 percent of corporate leaders believe AI can help employees focus on more meaningful work, while 34 percent believe AI can help free up time for more important, useful work.
UPSKILLING
Only 34% of HR leaders stated they are actively investing in reskilling their workers, according to a Mercer report. Hopefully, as more business leaders play a crucial role in preparing Americans for future occupations, this number will rise in the coming years. Employers and employees will struggle to be nimble in the future if they lack the necessary capabilities.
Smart company executives must move now to plan how their organizations will upskill their employees in order to succeed in the digital age.
To be future-ready, the modern workforce expects change and is willing to adapt and learn. Businesses must encourage upskilling in order to assist people in preparing for change and to avoid a workplace where some employees are ready for change while others are not.
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
Data is a gold mine for businesses. However, without insights, this ‘data’ becomes meaningless. HR executives can now accurately measure KPIs and employee performance thanks to the rise of SaaS and cost-effective HR solutions and technologies. The xpath.global’ ERM Saas tool allows you to manage all parties involved in a mobility case, follow the workflow, exchange messages with providers and expats directly on the platform, share and store documents all in a fully GDPR compliant ecosystem.
